Denture Implants Help You
Keep Comfortable
A common problem many denture patients have is keeping their lower
set in their mouth. It is easy to keep the upper dentures in either with an
adhesive or with your own saliva. But when it comes to the lower dentures, it
is hard to keep them in place because of your tongue and your jaw are always
moving. This causes the lower dentures to detach and even fall out of your
mouth ever so often.
This can cause you to be self-conscious of your teeth when
you’re eating or out in public, and all you want is for your teeth to
stay in place! If you’ve lost your teeth and have to deal with this
discomfort for 25 to 30 year period, lower dentures just do not work. We
always say at best; we can make you unhappy with a removable
plate.
Lower Denture Implants
However, there is another option for patients who have lost many of
their lower teeth. At Bilski Family Dentistry, we offer dental implants that
will attach to your current dentures. This is called a conversion where we
take your denture and enable them to fit on top of a retentive bar that
clicks in place on a snap on.
This picture shows the lower jaw. There are four implants the gold
circular piece yes right there are called locators. They’re just the
snap on piece kind like when you snap your jean jacket
together.
Then we clear out space on your denture for us to bond the caps
that click on to those gold pieces on the bar in the previous
picture.
These Dentures Look Natural
You can see how natural these teeth look, they are low
maintenance, and they stay in place so you can eat almost anything without
worrying about your dentures falling out!
Not only do the denture implants make you feel more confident,
they aren’t very expensive either. Everything is pre-planned so you
can plan out your payment!
If you want to have a more comfortable and confident smile and do
and eat things you normally would not be able to because of your lower
dentures, contact us at Bilski Family Dentistry to see if you are a candidate
for denture implants today!
