Bone Grafting for Tooth
Replacement Procedures

When we lose a tooth, the bones in our jaw can move around, or
sometimes we can naturally have too much or too little bone needed for tooth
replacement options. The solution? Bone grafting! That sounds scary, but
it isn’t, so let’s break it down!

What is a Bone Graft?

A bone graft is a minor procedure where we can take bone from
other sources to replace or add to the bone in your jaw. The process is a
quick 90-minute appointment with a few months of recovery and
healing.

Sometimes a bone graft is required in order to replace a missing
tooth with a dental implant or a bridge.

How Does a Bone Graft Work?

There are two methods to source new bone: from your blood or from
cadaver bone crystal. Learn more about bone grafts here.
